Placencia Sidewalk<\/b>, originally a personal\u00a0 concrete pathway for a bishop with tender feet to travel to and from his house to the Anglican church and school, is a 5,000 feet long concrete lane connecting you to restaurants, bars, an ice cream shop, and local artisan shops. Start your tour at the Placencia Municipal Pier Harbour and walk north along the sidewalk. As you walk, be on the lookout for pieces of weathered pink conch shells in the concrete as this is no ordinary concrete walkway, it is made of concrete along with dead coral, sand, and approximately 30,000 conch shells!<\/span><\/p>
